UPS Trucks, Center, Packages Damaged In Maryland Fire


FREDERICK, Md. (AP) — An in a single day hearth at a UPS middle in Maryland has despatched a but undetermined variety of packages up in smoke throughout this vacation season.

WUSA-TV stories Frederick County Hearth Division spokesman Kevin Fox says the hearth was reported about eleven:forty p.m. Monday.

Information retailers report responding crews discovered 10 vans and a package deal loading construction ablaze.

Fox says it took firefighter round forty five minutes to convey the blaze underneath management. He says the constructing suffered principally exterior injury since a sprinkler system activated inside the primary construction.

The Hearth Marshal is investigating the hearth’s trigger.

A consultant for UPS says the corporate is working to determine and notify shippers of the broken packages, in addition to reroute packages that may have gone out on the broken vans.
