U.S. pledges up to $60 million for security help in Sahel region


(Reuters) – The USA has promised $60 million to help the Group of 5 Sahel States (G5 Sahel) Joint Drive’s counterterrorism efforts, the state division stated in a press release on Monday.

The cash will bolster the U.S.’s regional companions of their struggle to make sure safety and stability within the face of ISIS and affiliated teams and different terrorist networks, Secretary of State Rex Tillerson stated within the assertion.
