U.S. detainee policy review won't touch harsh interrogation tactics

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – The U.S. military said on Wednesday that its 90-day review of detainee policy will not include an examination of harsh interrogation tactics and that no one has been identified for possible transfer to the Guantanamo Bay detention facility.

“Enhanced interrogation techniques are absolutely not a part of the review,” Navy Commander Sarah Higgins, a U.S. military spokeswoman, told Reuters.
