Several JCPS schools will be unable to view solar eclipse outside


LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A number of faculties within the Jefferson County Public Faculties district can be unable to view the photo voltaic eclipse outdoors.

The district says it is as a result of they didn’t buy or get photo voltaic eclipse glasses. 

JCPS says it is as much as every faculty and principal to determine if college students will watch the eclipse on Monday.

A number of faculties together with Jeffersontown Elementary purchased glasses that have been later a part of an Amazon recall.

The Jeffersontown Metropolis Council simply voted final night time to assist that faculty. The council will use $225 of its council funds to pay for brand spanking new glasses.
