OAKLAND (CBS SF) — Oakland’s pc science and know-how college students acquired some a lot-wanted monetary help at Rev. Jesse Jackson’s PUSHTech2020 Summit.
The April 19 occasion included a workshop with audio system from Google, eBay, Oracle and a dozen different tech corporations in Palo Alto, and a pc science showcase at Oakland Technical Excessive Faculty.
Jackson raised $forty two,500 to help scholarships and Pc Science packages within the Oakland Unified Faculty District.
Microsoft, Intel and eleven West Companions all matched a $10,000 donation from RainbowPush. Comcast donated a further $2,500.
