Report shows LMPD officer was speeding before crash that left a woman dead

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A police report reveals an LMPD officer was going 27 miles over the posted velocity restrict earlier than a crash that killed a lady. 

The crash occurred on March 26 on Fern Valley Street at Jeanine Drive. 

In line with the report, the marked police cruiser was driving eastbound when the driving force of a Honda Accord turned in entrance of the cruisers’ path. 

The police automotive hit the Honda, sending it off the street, right into a street signal and ultimately right into a ditch. 

A passenger within the Honda, forty two-yr-previous Bishnu Bhujel, later died on the hospital. 

The report reveals the officer was driving seventy two miles per hour when the velocity restrict is posted at forty five.
