GREENWICH VILLAGE — Preet Bharara, who was fired from his place as a United States Lawyer after refusing to resign earlier this month, will be a part of New York College’s Faculty of Regulation as a distinguished scholar in residence, the varsity introduced Tuesday.
“I’m honored to hitch the NYU Faculty of Regulation, one of many nice instructional establishments in America, and I welcome the prospect to contribute in such a considerate setting,” he wrote in an announcement on the varsity’s web site.
“I’m thrilled for this chance to proceed addressing the problems I so deeply care about — felony and social justice, trustworthy authorities, nationwide safety, civil rights, and company accountability, to call a number of.”
He stated the brand new position, which he begins on April 1, will permit him to proceed engaged on the problems that mattered to him.
