Police: Robber Breaks Leg, Calls For Help, Gets Arrested


ALEXANDRIA, Va. (AP) — A robber in Virginia ruined his personal getaway — first by breaking his leg in a leap off a balcony, after which by calling the authorities to assist him.

Police say 21-yr-previous Leoul Yosef might be charged with housebreaking for robbing an Alexandria house on Wednesday after which leaping off the second-story balcony after the proprietor returned house.

Fairfax County Police Officer Don Gatthardt says Yosef left tracks within the snow when he jumped.

Officers say they have been following the snow path once they acquired a 911 name from a person within the neighborhood saying he’d damaged his leg. Responding officers matched the id of the caller to the housebreaking suspect.

Gatthhardt says Yosef shall be charged after his launch from the hospital.

It’s unclear if Yosef has an lawyer.
