Police: Man Arrested After Pointing Gun During Road Rage Incident

LOWER TOWNSHIP, N.J. (CBS) — Police arrested a seventy two-yr-previous man over the weekend after he reportedly displayed a handgun throughout a street rage incident.

Authorities charged August Boback, who was jailed the Cape Might County Correctional Facility, with a number of firearm-associated expenses.

The incident occurred at 10 a.m. Sunday alongside Route 109 and the Backyard State Parkway, within the Chilly Spring part of Decrease Township.

Based on the police report, Boback, driving a silver Hyundai SUV, was allegedly holding a handgun and pointing it within the course of people in one other car.  However he fled the scene previous to police arrival.

The alleged victims recorded the car tag’s quantity and reported the incident to police.

A couple of minutes later, police say they stopped Bobak within the SUV and a search of his car, officers reportedly recovered a firearm matching the alleged victims’ description.

Boback faces two counts of possession of a firearm, a fourth-diploma crime, illegal possession of a weapon, a 3rd-diploma crime, possession of a weapon for illegal function, a second-diploma crime and aggravated assault by pointing a firearm within the path of one other, a fourth-diploma crime.

There have been no reported accidents suffered through the reported incident.
