Pleasant Hill Suspect At Large After Monday Kidnapping, Carjacking


PLEASANT HILL (CBS SF) — A suspect is at giant following a kidnapping and carjacking that injured a toddler and mom Monday morning in Nice Hill, police stated Tuesday.

At 7:19 a.m. Monday, Martinez police have been pursuing a stolen car that went into Nice Hill.

Police ended the pursuit due to security considerations, however the driver of the car continued to hurry by way of the town.

The suspect’s car collided with one other car on the intersection of Viking Drive and Contra Costa Boulevard, police stated.

Police stated the collision injured a 2-yr-previous youngster and the kid’s mom, who have been each taken to a hospital the place they have been handled and later launched.

Following the collision, the suspect ran from the stolen car and carjacked one other car that was stopped in visitors.

Police stated the suspect took over the car from its driver and drove the car and the driving force to a Martinez neighborhood the place the suspect fled, leaving the kidnapping sufferer there.

The kidnapping sufferer was not harmed.
