FREMONT (CBS SF) – All lanes of state Freeway 238 at Interstate Freeway 680 in Fremont are blocked this afternoon after a tractor-trailer overturned and spilled a load of sand onto the roadway, in accordance with the California Freeway Patrol.
The crash is underneath the jurisdiction of Fremont police, who stated it was reported at 2:forty seven p.m. after the large-rig overturned whereas exiting Freeway 680 onto northbound Freeway 238, also referred to as Mission Boulevard.
The large-rig driver was alert and acutely aware and an ambulance responded to the scene, police stated.
The street is predicted to stay closed for a number of hours and motorists are suggested to keep away from the world, police stated shortly after four p.m.
