Long-Time Montgomery County Firefighter Dies In The Line Of Duty

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — An extended-time firefighter in Montgomery County suffered a coronary heart assault and died within the line of obligation earlier this week.

John Moran, Sr. died Tuesday. The seventy one-yr-previous had been with the Perkiomen Hearth Firm for fifty three years, together with virtually 20 years as chief.

Moran had answered two calls with the hearth firm within the 24 hours earlier than his dying.

Monday, he referred to as 9-1-1 from Pennypacker Mills saying he wasn’t feeling properly. He collapsed a short while later and efforts to revive him have been unsuccessful.
