SAN LUIS OBISPO (CBS SF) — The winter storms have given start to an explosion of colour because the wildflowers have bloomed on the Carrizo Plain in San Luis Obispo County.

Hundreds of tourists have taken the 5-hour drive southward from the Bay Space to witness and photograph the tremendous bloom on the plain that features the 246,812-acre Corrizo Plain Nationwide Monument.

Officers stated the document winter rains have pushed away the consequences of a number of years of drought and created good circumstances for wildflowers.
