Jackson County deputies arrest two in 'accidental bust'

JACKSON COUNTY, Ind. (WDRB) – Two individuals are dealing with fees in Jackson county, Indiana after greater than 200 marijuana crops are discovered inside their house.

Kenneth Shawn Vierling and Teresa Lynn Blair are charged with possession of and dealing marijuana.

Jackson County Sheriff Mike Carothers says reserve deputies went to house within the 8000 block of N. County Street 925 to serve an arrest warrant on a person for contempt of courtroom.

The sheriff says reserve deputies Eric Borwalski and Brad Barker have been on the porch of the home, once they smelled marijuana. Investigators say the lady who answered the door was Teresa Blair, who admitted to lately smoking marijuana.

“He discovered she wasn’t being actual truthful as a result of he discovered one other massive field of marijuana sitting there,” Carothers stated.

Carothers says each Vierling and Blair the consented to a search of their home, and that’s when deputies discovered round 225 marijuana crops rising inside.
