Fleet Week Navy Crew Rescues Man from S.F. Bay


SAN FRANCISCO (KPIX) — A U.S. Navy crew jumped into motion Friday night, pulling a person out of the bay close to Pier 34 on the San Francisco waterfront.

It’s unclear whether or not the person fell or jumped in.

Authorities noticed him swimming within the water round eight p.m. Quickly after they pulled him to security, the person was taken away by S.F. police.
