CHICAGO (AP) — A Kentucky physician who was dragged off a United flight after he refused to surrender his seat to crew members has reached a settlement with the airline for undisclosed quantity.
David Dao’s authorized workforce introduced the settlement Thursday in a quick assertion. The settlement features a provision that the quantity will stay confidential.
Cellphone video of the April 9 confrontation aboard a jetliner at Chicago’s O’Hare Airport sparked widespread public outrage over the remedy of Dao.
The footage confirmed airport cops pulling the sixty nine-yr-previous father of 5 from his seat and dragging him down the aisle. His lawyer says he misplaced tooth and suffered a damaged nostril and a concussion.
